Well, the EU servers are down (Inset Day, so I’m not at school) so I guess I’ll start actually blogg
ing.
Two days ago I dinged level 12. “Yay!” I thought to myself, “a chance to see some Tier 2 Keep Sieges and get some renown gear!” Nope. Not once have I seen the Order come anywhere close to actually attacking either of the Keeps in the Empire vs Chaos pairing. The best I have seen is about 6 of us, with one light cannon, trying to break through. In about 5 minutes, a zerg of Destrustion players came in and meticulously wipe out us, the objectives we captured and any Order people in the RvR zone.
Yesterday I dinged level 14, and looked on my map to see if we had a Keep under control so I could get some RR gear. “Stonetroll Keep – Destruction Controlled. Keep Lord Under Attack!” I ran over there, thinking it would actually be a successful Keep Siege this time. Guess what? Not a soul. Not one player controlled character anywhere near the Keep, the only figures being those of the guards (who were at full spawn and full health.) I scouted around a bit, and was summarily killed by a level 21 Witch Elf who had been hiding around the back.
It looks as though I’ll have to migrate to another pairing if I want to get some gear (or action, for that matter.) If, by some miracle, when the servers come back up, we have control of a Keep, then I’ll be happy. But I highly doubt that Empire Tier 2 will ever, really, be Order Controlled for any length of time.
UPDATE: Well, colour me shocked, Order owned both Keeps and all the objectives!
